How To Uninstall awstats On Debian 9

To uninstall awstats just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just awstats

powerful and featureful web server log analyzerDebian 9.0web7.6+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove awstats

This will remove just the awstats package itself.

Uninstall awstats and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove awstats

This will remove the awstats package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for awstats then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge awstats

Or similarly, like this awstats

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove awstats
