How To Uninstall axiom-databases On Debian 9

To uninstall axiom-databases just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just axiom-databases

General purpose computer algebra systemDebian 9.0math20140801-12
sudo apt-get remove axiom-databases

This will remove just the axiom-databases package itself.

Uninstall axiom-databases and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove axiom-databases

This will remove the axiom-databases package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for axiom-databases then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge axiom-databases

Or similarly, like this axiom-databases

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove axiom-databases
