How To Uninstall babeld On Debian 9

To uninstall babeld just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just babeld

loop-free distance-vector routing protocolDebian 9.0net1.7.0-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove babeld

This will remove just the babeld package itself.

Uninstall babeld and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove babeld

This will remove the babeld package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for babeld then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge babeld

Or similarly, like this babeld

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove babeld
