How To Uninstall backintime-kde On Debian 9

To uninstall backintime-kde just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just backintime-kde

KDE front-end for backintime (transitional package)Debian 9.0utils1.1.12-2
sudo apt-get remove backintime-kde

This will remove just the backintime-kde package itself.

Uninstall backintime-kde and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove backintime-kde

This will remove the backintime-kde package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for backintime-kde then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge backintime-kde

Or similarly, like this backintime-kde

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove backintime-kde
