How To Uninstall backup-manager-doc On Debian 9

To uninstall backup-manager-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just backup-manager-doc

documentation package for Backup ManagerDebian 9.0doc0.7.12-4
sudo apt-get remove backup-manager-doc

This will remove just the backup-manager-doc package itself.

Uninstall backup-manager-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove backup-manager-doc

This will remove the backup-manager-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for backup-manager-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge backup-manager-doc

Or similarly, like this backup-manager-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove backup-manager-doc
