How To Uninstall backup2l On Debian 9

To uninstall backup2l just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just backup2l

low-maintenance backup/restore toolDebian 9.0admin1.6-1
sudo apt-get remove backup2l

This will remove just the backup2l package itself.

Uninstall backup2l and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove backup2l

This will remove the backup2l package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for backup2l then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge backup2l

Or similarly, like this backup2l

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove backup2l
