How To Uninstall backupninja On Debian 9

To uninstall backupninja just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just backupninja

linuxlightweight, extensible meta-backup systemadmin1.0.1-2
sudo apt-get remove backupninja

This will remove just the backupninja package itself.

Uninstall backupninja and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove backupninja

This will remove the backupninja package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for backupninja then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge backupninja

Or similarly, like this backupninja

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove backupninja
