How To Uninstall bacula-fd On Debian 9

To uninstall bacula-fd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bacula-fd

linuxnetwork backup service - file daemonadmin7.4.4+dfsg-6
sudo apt-get remove bacula-fd

This will remove just the bacula-fd package itself.

Uninstall bacula-fd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bacula-fd

This will remove the bacula-fd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bacula-fd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bacula-fd

Or similarly, like this bacula-fd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bacula-fd
