How To Uninstall bacula-server On Debian 9

To uninstall bacula-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bacula-server

network backup service - server metapackageDebian 9.0admin7.4.4+dfsg-6
sudo apt-get remove bacula-server

This will remove just the bacula-server package itself.

Uninstall bacula-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bacula-server

This will remove the bacula-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bacula-server then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bacula-server

Or similarly, like this bacula-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bacula-server
