How To Uninstall bacula On Debian 9

To uninstall bacula just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bacula

network backup service - metapackageDebian 9.0admin7.4.4+dfsg-6
sudo apt-get remove bacula

This will remove just the bacula package itself.

Uninstall bacula and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bacula

This will remove the bacula package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bacula then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bacula

Or similarly, like this bacula

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bacula
