How To Uninstall baloo On Debian 9

To uninstall baloo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just baloo

linuxtransitional package for baloooldlibs4:5.28.0-2
sudo apt-get remove baloo

This will remove just the baloo package itself.

Uninstall baloo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove baloo

This will remove the baloo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for baloo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge baloo

Or similarly, like this baloo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove baloo
