How To Uninstall bandwidthd On Debian 9

To uninstall bandwidthd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bandwidthd

Tracks usage of TCP/IP and builds html files with graphsDebian 9.0net2.0.1+cvs20090917-10
sudo apt-get remove bandwidthd

This will remove just the bandwidthd package itself.

Uninstall bandwidthd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bandwidthd

This will remove the bandwidthd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bandwidthd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bandwidthd

Or similarly, like this bandwidthd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bandwidthd
