How To Uninstall barcode-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall barcode-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just barcode-dbg

linuxUtility and library for barcode generation (debug)debug0.98+debian-9.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove barcode-dbg

This will remove just the barcode-dbg package itself.

Uninstall barcode-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove barcode-dbg

This will remove the barcode-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for barcode-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge barcode-dbg

Or similarly, like this barcode-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove barcode-dbg
