How To Uninstall bareftp On Debian 9

To uninstall bareftp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bareftp

FTP client for GNOMEDebian 9.0gnome0.3.9-3
sudo apt-get remove bareftp

This will remove just the bareftp package itself.

Uninstall bareftp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bareftp

This will remove the bareftp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bareftp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bareftp

Or similarly, like this bareftp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bareftp
