How To Uninstall bareos-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall bareos-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bareos-dbg

Backup Archiving Recovery Open Sourced - debugging symbolsDebian 9.0debug16.2.4-3
sudo apt-get remove bareos-dbg

This will remove just the bareos-dbg package itself.

Uninstall bareos-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bareos-dbg

This will remove the bareos-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bareos-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bareos-dbg

Or similarly, like this bareos-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bareos-dbg
