How To Uninstall barman-cli On Debian 9

To uninstall barman-cli just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just barman-cli

Client utilities for the integration of Barman in PostgreSQL clustersDebian 9.0database1.2-1
sudo apt-get remove barman-cli

This will remove just the barman-cli package itself.

Uninstall barman-cli and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove barman-cli

This will remove the barman-cli package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for barman-cli then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge barman-cli

Or similarly, like this barman-cli

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove barman-cli
