How To Uninstall basez On Debian 9

To uninstall basez just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just basez

linuxbase 16/32/64 encode/decode data to standard outpututils1.6-3
sudo apt-get remove basez

This will remove just the basez package itself.

Uninstall basez and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove basez

This will remove the basez package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for basez then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge basez

Or similarly, like this basez

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove basez
