How To Uninstall bash-doc On Debian 9

To uninstall bash-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bash-doc

linuxDocumentation and examples for the GNU Bourne Again SHelldoc4.4-5
sudo apt-get remove bash-doc

This will remove just the bash-doc package itself.

Uninstall bash-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bash-doc

This will remove the bash-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bash-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bash-doc

Or similarly, like this bash-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bash-doc
