How To Uninstall batctl On Debian 9

To uninstall batctl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just batctl

B.A.T.M.A.N. advanced control and management toolDebian 9.0net2016.5-1
sudo apt-get remove batctl

This will remove just the batctl package itself.

Uninstall batctl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove batctl

This will remove the batctl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for batctl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge batctl

Or similarly, like this batctl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove batctl
