How To Uninstall batmand On Debian 9

To uninstall batmand just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just batmand

sudo apt-get remove batmand

This will remove just the batmand package itself.

Uninstall batmand and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove batmand

This will remove the batmand package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for batmand then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge batmand

Or similarly, like this batmand

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove batmand
