How To Uninstall battery-stats On Debian 9

To uninstall battery-stats just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just battery-stats

collects statistics about charge of laptop batteriesDebian 9.0admin0.5.6-1
sudo apt-get remove battery-stats

This will remove just the battery-stats package itself.

Uninstall battery-stats and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove battery-stats

This will remove the battery-stats package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for battery-stats then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge battery-stats

Or similarly, like this battery-stats

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove battery-stats
