How To Uninstall bbmail On Debian 9

To uninstall bbmail just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bbmail

Mail notifier for Blackbox/FluxboxDebian 9.0mail0.8.3-7+b1
sudo apt-get remove bbmail

This will remove just the bbmail package itself.

Uninstall bbmail and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bbmail

This will remove the bbmail package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bbmail then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bbmail

Or similarly, like this bbmail

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bbmail
