How To Uninstall bcache-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall bcache-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bcache-tools

bcache userspace toolsDebian 9.0utils1.0.8-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove bcache-tools

This will remove just the bcache-tools package itself.

Uninstall bcache-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bcache-tools

This will remove the bcache-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bcache-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bcache-tools

Or similarly, like this bcache-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bcache-tools
