How To Uninstall bdf2psf On Debian 9

To uninstall bdf2psf just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bdf2psf

font converter to generate console fonts from BDF source fontsDebian 9.0utils1.164
sudo apt-get remove bdf2psf

This will remove just the bdf2psf package itself.

Uninstall bdf2psf and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bdf2psf

This will remove the bdf2psf package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bdf2psf then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bdf2psf

Or similarly, like this bdf2psf

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bdf2psf
