How To Uninstall bdfresize On Debian 9

To uninstall bdfresize just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bdfresize

linuxtool for resizing BDF format fontx111.5-10
sudo apt-get remove bdfresize

This will remove just the bdfresize package itself.

Uninstall bdfresize and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bdfresize

This will remove the bdfresize package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bdfresize then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bdfresize

Or similarly, like this bdfresize

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bdfresize
