How To Uninstall beanstalkd On Debian 9

To uninstall beanstalkd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just beanstalkd

simple, in-memory, workqueue serviceDebian 9.0net1.10-4
sudo apt-get remove beanstalkd

This will remove just the beanstalkd package itself.

Uninstall beanstalkd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove beanstalkd

This will remove the beanstalkd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for beanstalkd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge beanstalkd

Or similarly, like this beanstalkd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove beanstalkd
