How To Uninstall beast2-mcmc-doc On Debian 9

To uninstall beast2-mcmc-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just beast2-mcmc-doc

Bayesian MCMC phylogenetic inference - documentationDebian 9.0doc2.4.4+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove beast2-mcmc-doc

This will remove just the beast2-mcmc-doc package itself.

Uninstall beast2-mcmc-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove beast2-mcmc-doc

This will remove the beast2-mcmc-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for beast2-mcmc-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge beast2-mcmc-doc

Or similarly, like this beast2-mcmc-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove beast2-mcmc-doc
