How To Uninstall beav On Debian 9

To uninstall beav just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just beav

binary editor and viewerDebian 9.0editors1:1.40-18+b2
sudo apt-get remove beav

This will remove just the beav package itself.

Uninstall beav and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove beav

This will remove the beav package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for beav then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge beav

Or similarly, like this beav

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove beav
