How To Uninstall bedtools-test On Debian 9

To uninstall bedtools-test just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bedtools-test

test data for the bedtools packageDebian 9.0science2.26.0+dfsg-3
sudo apt-get remove bedtools-test

This will remove just the bedtools-test package itself.

Uninstall bedtools-test and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bedtools-test

This will remove the bedtools-test package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bedtools-test then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bedtools-test

Or similarly, like this bedtools-test

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bedtools-test
