How To Uninstall berkeley-abc On Debian 9

To uninstall berkeley-abc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just berkeley-abc

linuxABC - A System for Sequential Synthesis and Verificationelectronics1.01+20161002hgeb6eca6+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove berkeley-abc

This will remove just the berkeley-abc package itself.

Uninstall berkeley-abc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove berkeley-abc

This will remove the berkeley-abc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for berkeley-abc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge berkeley-abc

Or similarly, like this berkeley-abc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove berkeley-abc
