How To Uninstall bgpdump On Debian 9

To uninstall bgpdump just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bgpdump

linuxTranslate binary zebra/quagga/MRT files into readable outputadmin1.5.0-2
sudo apt-get remove bgpdump

This will remove just the bgpdump package itself.

Uninstall bgpdump and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bgpdump

This will remove the bgpdump package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bgpdump then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bgpdump

Or similarly, like this bgpdump

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bgpdump
