How To Uninstall biber On Debian 9

To uninstall biber just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just biber

linuxMuch-augmented BibTeX replacement for BibLaTeX usersperl2.7-2
sudo apt-get remove biber

This will remove just the biber package itself.

Uninstall biber and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove biber

This will remove the biber package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for biber then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge biber

Or similarly, like this biber

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove biber
