How To Uninstall bibledit-data On Debian 9

To uninstall bibledit-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bibledit-data

transitional dummy package to bibledit-gtk-dataDebian 9.0gnome4.9-1
sudo apt-get remove bibledit-data

This will remove just the bibledit-data package itself.

Uninstall bibledit-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bibledit-data

This will remove the bibledit-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bibledit-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bibledit-data

Or similarly, like this bibledit-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bibledit-data
