How To Uninstall bind9utils On Debian 9

To uninstall bind9utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bind9utils

Utilities for BINDDebian 9.0net1:9.10.3.dfsg.P4-12.3
sudo apt-get remove bind9utils

This will remove just the bind9utils package itself.

Uninstall bind9utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bind9utils

This will remove the bind9utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bind9utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bind9utils

Or similarly, like this bind9utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bind9utils
