How To Uninstall bindfs On Debian 9

To uninstall bindfs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bindfs

mirrors or overlays a local directory with altered permissionsDebian 9.0utils1.13.5-1
sudo apt-get remove bindfs

This will remove just the bindfs package itself.

Uninstall bindfs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bindfs

This will remove the bindfs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bindfs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bindfs

Or similarly, like this bindfs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bindfs
