How To Uninstall bing On Debian 9

To uninstall bing just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bing

Empirical stochastic bandwidth testerDebian 9.0net1.1.3-3
sudo apt-get remove bing

This will remove just the bing package itself.

Uninstall bing and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bing

This will remove the bing package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bing then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bing

Or similarly, like this bing

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bing
