How To Uninstall binkd On Debian 9

To uninstall binkd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just binkd

FidoTech TCP/IP mailerDebian 9.0comm1.0.5~pre5-1
sudo apt-get remove binkd

This will remove just the binkd package itself.

Uninstall binkd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove binkd

This will remove the binkd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for binkd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge binkd

Or similarly, like this binkd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove binkd
