How To Uninstall binutils-mingw-w64 On Debian 9

To uninstall binutils-mingw-w64 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just binutils-mingw-w64

Cross-binutils for Win32 and Win64 using MinGW-w64Debian 9.0devel2.27.90.20161231-1+7.4
sudo apt-get remove binutils-mingw-w64

This will remove just the binutils-mingw-w64 package itself.

Uninstall binutils-mingw-w64 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove binutils-mingw-w64

This will remove the binutils-mingw-w64 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for binutils-mingw-w64 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge binutils-mingw-w64

Or similarly, like this binutils-mingw-w64

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove binutils-mingw-w64
