How To Uninstall binutils-msp430 On Debian 9

To uninstall binutils-msp430 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just binutils-msp430

Binary utilities supporting TI's MSP430 targetsDebian 9.0devel2.22~msp20120406-5.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove binutils-msp430

This will remove just the binutils-msp430 package itself.

Uninstall binutils-msp430 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove binutils-msp430

This will remove the binutils-msp430 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for binutils-msp430 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge binutils-msp430

Or similarly, like this binutils-msp430

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove binutils-msp430
