How To Uninstall binwalk On Debian 9

To uninstall binwalk just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just binwalk

tool library for analyzing binary blobs and executable codeDebian 9.0devel2.1.1-16
sudo apt-get remove binwalk

This will remove just the binwalk package itself.

Uninstall binwalk and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove binwalk

This will remove the binwalk package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for binwalk then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge binwalk

Or similarly, like this binwalk

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove binwalk
