How To Uninstall bio-eagle On Debian 9

To uninstall bio-eagle just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bio-eagle

Haplotype phasing within a genotyped cohort or using a phased reference panelDebian 9.0science2.3-3
sudo apt-get remove bio-eagle

This will remove just the bio-eagle package itself.

Uninstall bio-eagle and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bio-eagle

This will remove the bio-eagle package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bio-eagle then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bio-eagle

Or similarly, like this bio-eagle

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bio-eagle
