How To Uninstall bio-rainbow On Debian 9

To uninstall bio-rainbow just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bio-rainbow

clustering and assembling short reads for bioinformaticsDebian 9.0science2.0.4-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove bio-rainbow

This will remove just the bio-rainbow package itself.

Uninstall bio-rainbow and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bio-rainbow

This will remove the bio-rainbow package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bio-rainbow then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bio-rainbow

Or similarly, like this bio-rainbow

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bio-rainbow
