How To Uninstall biosquid On Debian 9

To uninstall biosquid just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just biosquid

utilities for biological sequence analysisDebian 9.0science1.9g+cvs20050121-7
sudo apt-get remove biosquid

This will remove just the biosquid package itself.

Uninstall biosquid and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove biosquid

This will remove the biosquid package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for biosquid then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge biosquid

Or similarly, like this biosquid

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove biosquid
