How To Uninstall bip-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall bip-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bip-dbg

multiuser irc proxy with conversation replay and more (debugging symbols)Debian 9.0debug0.8.9-1.1
sudo apt-get remove bip-dbg

This will remove just the bip-dbg package itself.

Uninstall bip-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bip-dbg

This will remove the bip-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bip-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bip-dbg

Or similarly, like this bip-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bip-dbg
