How To Uninstall bitmeter On Debian 9

To uninstall bitmeter just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bitmeter

sudo apt-get remove bitmeter

This will remove just the bitmeter package itself.

Uninstall bitmeter and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bitmeter

This will remove the bitmeter package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bitmeter then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bitmeter

Or similarly, like this bitmeter

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bitmeter
