How To Uninstall bittornado On Debian 9

To uninstall bittornado just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bittornado

bittorrent client (and tracker) with console and curses interfacesDebian 9.0net0.3.18-10.2
sudo apt-get remove bittornado

This will remove just the bittornado package itself.

Uninstall bittornado and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bittornado

This will remove the bittornado package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bittornado then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bittornado

Or similarly, like this bittornado

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bittornado
