How To Uninstall blcr-util On Debian 9

To uninstall blcr-util just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just blcr-util

Userspace tools to Checkpoint and Restart Linux processesDebian 9.0misc0.8.5-2.3+b1
sudo apt-get remove blcr-util

This will remove just the blcr-util package itself.

Uninstall blcr-util and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove blcr-util

This will remove the blcr-util package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for blcr-util then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge blcr-util

Or similarly, like this blcr-util

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove blcr-util
