How To Uninstall blender On Debian 9

To uninstall blender just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just blender

Very fast and versatile 3D modeller/rendererDebian 9.0graphics2.78.a+dfsg0-4
sudo apt-get remove blender

This will remove just the blender package itself.

Uninstall blender and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove blender

This will remove the blender package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for blender then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge blender

Or similarly, like this blender

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove blender
