How To Uninstall blktool On Debian 9

To uninstall blktool just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just blktool

tune low-level block device parametersDebian 9.0admin4-7+b1
sudo apt-get remove blktool

This will remove just the blktool package itself.

Uninstall blktool and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove blktool

This will remove the blktool package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for blktool then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge blktool

Or similarly, like this blktool

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove blktool
