How To Uninstall blt On Debian 9

To uninstall blt just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just blt

graphics extension library for Tcl/Tk - run-timeDebian 9.0libs2.5.3+dfsg-3
sudo apt-get remove blt

This will remove just the blt package itself.

Uninstall blt and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove blt

This will remove the blt package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for blt then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge blt

Or similarly, like this blt

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove blt
